Who sells

Products on this site are sold by Ridgewake, Ontario, Canada [business name and address to be added], through our store on Shopify. The order is between you and Ridgewake.

Orders and prices

• Prices are shown in Canadian dollars unless the store says otherwise. Taxes and shipping are added at checkout, before you pay.
• Your order is accepted when we send the confirmation email. If a product cannot be supplied, or a price was shown in error, we will tell you and refund anything you paid.
• Payment is taken by Shopify's checkout. We never see your full card number.

Shipping

We ship to the addresses the checkout accepts [Canada and the United States first]. Delivery times are estimates. The risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

The Tracking edition's data plan

The Tracking edition includes three months of mobile data, starting the first day it reports from your account. After that the plan is paid monthly by card from your account and renews until you stop it. If it is not renewed, its mobile data is switched off after 7 days' grace; the logger keeps working over Wi-Fi and your phone. See pricing.

Using the products

• Install and use the products as their instructions say. Do not handle the app or the logger while driving.
• The logger reads your vehicle; it does not change it. Trouble codes and readings are information, not a mechanic's diagnosis.
• Live tracking depends on the mobile network and GPS, which are not available everywhere. It is not an emergency or security service.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection law where you live. [Limitation of liability wording to be added after legal review.]

The law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and of Canada that apply there, without taking away the protection of the law where you live.

Changes

We may change these terms for future orders; an order is governed by the terms shown when it was placed.
